MP3's and pre-recorded podcasts could never take the place of live radio personalities for me, but it's still possible that radio could become obsolete.
And I love paper books and will always prefer them over a Kindle-type device, but I get most of my news from reputable internet sources, so newspapers I could take or leave.
When do you think digital devices will make these media obsolete?

i have the dvd player and speakers hooked up to a 5.1 dolby digital receiver but when the movie is playing i am getting a faint radio station bleeding thru the dvd movies sound coming from my speakers.
Never have had this problem before when i would re-hook everything up after a move or whatever.
Any suggestions as to what I can do to stop the radio noise from bleeding through?

Menu, OK button, and the down button. All others worked. I tried putting in fresh batts., but of course that wasn't the prob. What do I do? thanks

On the old ones where you have to actually dial the numbers, I can see that working but not the digital ones.

i've had this digital clock for about 6 months. works perfect. its just an alarm clock, no radio. last night i realized it was about 10 mintues fast. however, i know i didnt change it to purposely be fast. so i adjusted it and it matched my computer and cell phone time. i jsut noticed it again and it is 50 MINUTES OFF! it says 2:45 when it is really 1:55. how does this happen? very annoying.

I got a new digital projection clock. The main clock takes about a minute and 12 seconds before it changes to the new minute. The projection part of the clock is functioning fine and is on time. What could this be? Also the battery part doesnt seem to be working either. The clock is a memorex projection clock radio (mc2896)
